Basic wages expected to rise by 1.5% this year

SINGAPORE: Amid the economic gloom, the latest survey by the Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI) shows basic wages will rise by 1.5 per cent this year.
This is a sharp contrast to the 4.4 to 4.8 per cent rise last year.
